What an interesting book. I remember reading his FIC book back in the 70's when starting to learn about SW aquariums, and MAK later. It is enjoyable to read about the life of the science author.
I'm waiting for part three - he has more stories to tell.
Steve is a genius and an amazing person. His memoirs are always fun and erudite. Very enjoyable and highly recommended
I was turned on to this book by a colleague and friend in the public aquarium industry. It is a fantastic read into the life and musings of an iconoclastic aquarium professional and prolific author. Anyone in the public aquarium industry or people with home aquariums will appreciate this book as a slice of aquarium history in the US. It bookends perfectly with Dave Powell's book "A Fascination With Fish," also available on .
